Pam grew up in a farming community in eastern Saskatchewan close to Yorkton. After graduating from high school, she moved to Regina to attend the University of Regina and study Journalism. After completing her schooling, Pam stumbled into an insurance position with a brokerage in Regina.
Pam obtained her insurance license and started working with the public in a personal lines position. Not long after, she moved into commercial servicing and sales and maintaining a commercial book of business. While employed in Regina, Pam completed the four levels for her Professional CAIB designation, graduating with honors in 2001. Shortly after completing her CAIB, and opportunity presented itself in Cold Lake, AB for a Commercial Account Executive with Doherty Insurance. Choosing to relate to Cold Lake saw her remain with Doherty until the brokerage sold in 2012. Within a year of the purchase, Pam was promoted to the Operations Manager for the three branches of Bridge Financial Insurance. The offices were in Cold Lake, Bonnyville, and Edmonton.
In 2019, Bridge was sold to Brokerlink, at which time Pam discovered that her vision and values did not align with an insurance company owned brokerage. In the summer of 2019, Pam opened Lake City Insurance, a local, independently owned brokerage and one partnered with Excel Insurance Group.
Pam spends her days working at growing her business, learning new skills, doing continuous training within insurance and outside insurance. When not at work, Pam enjoys spending time with her husband, Darcey and their kids, Xander and Lexi. She is an avid golfer and can often be found on one of the local courses. She loves the outdoors, spends time doing yard work and offers advise on home decorating to friends and family. In the winter, Pam spends time at home, visiting friends and family and reading.
Andrea was born and raised in Strathmore, Alberta, she moved to Cold Lake with her family in 2000, shortly after her brother was posted to CFB Cold Lake. She came for a visit, and never left! She met her husband Scott in 2002, and they were married in 2006. They were blessed with three wonderful children, Matthew, Anna and Cameron.
Andrea owned and operated her own nail salon, Andrea’s Nails, for 12 years before choosing to be a full-time mom. Andrea decided to return to the work force after 5 years at home, as a Receptionist with Bridge Financial Insurance in 2016. While employed with Bridge she obtained her Level 1 Insurance license and started in a broker position in 2017.
In 2019, Bridge Financial sold to a large corporate brokerage and Andrea moved to a remote brokering position, again working from home for a small brokerage based out of Edmonton. This was a perfect fit for her and her family during the challenges we all faced in 2020. After 2 years, the opportunity to work with her favorite team presented itself and she has now joined Lake City Insurance.
In her personal time, Andrea has been a volunteer on the executive board for Cold Lake Minor Soccer since 2015 as the Registrar and Public Relations Coordinator. Together with her fellow volunteers, they have grown the love of the sport in Cold Lake.
Andrea is always happy to help and to provide advice for all your personal and farm insurance needs.
Katie grew up in Elk Point and moved to Cold Lake in 2017. She started her insurance career with Bridge Financial Insurance in 2016 as a receptionist in the Bonnyville branch. She obtained her Level 1 license in 2017 and moved into an Account Manager position in Personal lines. Katie remained with Bridge Financial until the office sold in 2019. Katie moved to another local brokerage where she obtained her Level II Licenses and transitioned into a role dealing with large commercial accounts. Katie enjoys providing superior customer service and building relationships with her client base, and she was looking for a brokerage that would align with her customer focus and vision for service. When an opportunity came up to work with some of her old team from Bridge, she jumped at the chance to join the team at Lake City Insurance.

Erin started her insurance career with a direct writer, State Farm in 2011. She obtained her Level 1 license while employed with State Farm and continued to work for State Farm for 6 years. She then transitioned over to the broker side with Bridge Financial Insurance, where she continued as a Personal Lines Broker until the office sold in 2019. Since 2019, Erin has worked as a Personal Lines broker at a couple of brokerages in Edmonton, but she was looking for a brokerage that fit well with her work ethic and customer service expectations, and she reached out to some prior co-workers and secure a role with Lake City Insurance.
Erin has been busy over the last couple of years. Had a pandemic wedding in 2020 to her wonderful husband Tyson, bought her first home in 2021, and welcomed the birth of her daughter Leigha in 2022. Erin likes spending time with her family and venturing out to parks, museums, and the zoo. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking and baking, playing board games and true crime podcasts.
Erin works remotely from home, so if you’re stopping in the office to see her, she’s only in Cold Lake every month or two, but she can always be reached on the phone or by email. Customer service is her top priority, so she will also get back to you and answer your questions and inquires for all your personal lines policies.
